An extreme makeover of a person's exterior does not necessarily makeover the inner person, does it? Why is it when we are confronted with resistance concerning our faith we have a tendency to pull back feeling ill-equipped to answer the questions that are asked? It usually involves a deficiency in our knowledge of the Word of God. The Apostle Paul calls for disciples of Jesus to do our best in presenting ourselves to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. This Sunday we take a look on how to do that based on the text of 2 Timothy 2:8-15.
