There is no worse feeling than feeling alone in the world--and yet, if we stop long enough to look around we will discover an enormous number of people who need to be noticed by those who claim to be followers of Christ. To Love God and our neighbor requires a disciple to take the time to lift up those who are weighted down by life.We take a look at Jesus' teaching in Luke Chapter16 that addresses this most important instruction.

Sunday Sep 18, 2016
Most of us can remember when we lost something that was precious to us. And, if we were fortunate enough to find it--we also know the joy and satisfaction attached to such a discovery. Likewise our text, Luke 15:1-10, informs us that every time a lost sinner is found and surrenders his or her life to Christ--there is rejoicing in heaven because God wishes for no one to perish. This Sunday we discover what it means to be lost in God's eyes--and likewise, what it means to be found.

Sunday Sep 11, 2016
This Sunday we remember the tragedy of September 11, 2001. It reminds us of what true sacrifice is all about—caring for the needs of others, even at times above our own. We explore what it means to Love God and others as His disciples. Even as we honor the heroes of that day 15 years ago and since—we are also reminded to be "Everyday Heroes" in ministering to others. The scripture is Philippians 2:1-4.

Sunday Sep 04, 2016
What does it mean to count the cost? Jesus tells us that before you start a building project, one must factor in labor, materials, time, etc. That is what it means to count the cost. Well, what does it mean concerning discipleship? Is there a cost to discipleship? Is there a cost to consider before one commits to claiming to be a disciple or follower of Christ? This Sunday we answer that question in the message: "The Cost of Discipleship" based on Luke 14:25-33.
