Rev. Dr. Charles Ferrara: Everyday Heroes
Sunday Sep 11, 2016
Sunday Sep 11, 2016
This Sunday we remember the tragedy of September 11, 2001. It reminds us of what true sacrifice is all about—caring for the needs of others, even at times above our own. We explore what it means to Love God and others as His disciples. Even as we honor the heroes of that day 15 years ago and since—we are also reminded to be "Everyday Heroes" in ministering to others. The scripture is Philippians 2:1-4.

Rev. Dr. Charles Ferrara: The Cost of Discipleship
Sunday Sep 04, 2016
Sunday Sep 04, 2016
What does it mean to count the cost? Jesus tells us that before you start a building project, one must factor in labor, materials, time, etc. That is what it means to count the cost. Well, what does it mean concerning discipleship? Is there a cost to discipleship? Is there a cost to consider before one commits to claiming to be a disciple or follower of Christ? This Sunday we answer that question in the message: "The Cost of Discipleship" based on Luke 14:25-33.

Rev. Dr. Charles Ferrara: Is It OK To Be Angry?
Sunday Aug 28, 2016
Sunday Aug 28, 2016
Can we say we have never been angry with someone else? Probably not. Anger is a real emotion that every human is capable of feeling. The real question for the Christian believer is, "What do we do with that anger when it comes?" We take a biblical view of how to handle anger in the message: "Is it ever okay to be angry?" based on Ephesians 4:17-27.

Rev. Dr. Charles Ferrara: Encouraged In Our Race of Faith
Sunday Aug 14, 2016
Sunday Aug 14, 2016
Have you ever felt your faith waning? We try to run a good race of faith in this life, but there are times when we feel as if we are carrying dumbbells and weights that slows us down. Just like the Olympians need training, discipline and encouragement from their coaches and fellow teammates--we too, as Christians need training, discipline and encouragement from other believers to remain competitive in this secular world. This Sunday we explore ways to remain strong as we traverse the course of life in the message, "Encouraged in our Race of Faith" based on Hebrews 11:29-12:2.
